Karo è un’artista dalle radici miste inglesi ed italiane che unisce le sonorità elettroniche UK (garage e drum and bass) a una scrittura pop tutta italiana. Scrive di ciò che la tiene sveglia la notte - dubbi esistenziali, drammi d’amore - e lo trasforma in canzoni da ballare e da piangere, racchiuse in un live set tanto introspettivo quanto energico ed esplosivo.

A rising star, Mabu is a bilingual (Italian & English) music producer, DJ and sound engineer who fuses introspection with vibrant, experimental and fun sound textures. Mabu melts the tension between the relatable and the enigmatic, opening up spaces that feel familiar, yet dystopian; otherworldly yet homely.
Una stella emergente, Mabu è un produttore musicale e DJ bilingue (italiano e inglese) che usa la musica per fondere la sua introspezione a texture sonore sperimentali e divertenti. Mabu scioglie la tensione tra il relazionabile e l'enigmatico, creando suoni e spazi sia familiari che distopici; ultraterreni che in qualche modo sanno di casa.

AYCA'S STORY
It all started in 1240. The Traversari family were known protectors of poets & artists in Italy, establishing themselves as trusted artistic advisors. A sort of A&R of the Middle Ages. All was eventually lost following their exile from Ravenna, the town they had ruled for centuries. One day, their fate shifted thanks to Ayca Traversari (daughter of Paolo II) who managed to return to Ravenna in 1250 and singlehandedly regained her family’s power & possessions, re-establishing the Traversari as Protectors of the Arts & Artists, once again.
Tutto ebbe inizio nel 1240. La famiglia Traversari era conosciuta come protettrice di poeti e artisti in Italia, affermandosi come fidati consiglieri degli artisti - stile A&R del Medioevo. Tutto andò per il peggio in seguito al loro esilio da Ravenna, la città che avevano governato per secoli. Un giorno, però il loro destino prese un’altra svolta grazie ad Ayca Traversari (figlia di Paolo II), che riuscì a tornare a Ravenna nel 1250 e, da sola, riconquistare il potere e i beni della sua famiglia, ristabilendo i Traversari come veri Protettori delle Arti e degli Artisti.
